Kalamazoo, MICH — Consumers Credit Union is pleased to announce the addition of mortgage loan officers Tom Regan, Steve Taylor and Omar Khayyam to the mortgage sales team.

Tom Regan has spent the last 28 years in the mortgage industry, giving him a solid background for guiding members through the maze of guidelines, programs, rates and options to find a loan that is a member “best” fit.

“I love the satisfaction of providing people with the best loan structure to meet their financial goals,” he said. “Nothing is more satisfying.”

Regan will work in Consumers’ Gaines and Cascade offices in Grand Rapids.

Steve Taylor has worked mortgage deals from Kalamazoo to Chicago and back in his 20 years in the mortgage business, as well as serving as a retention mortgage loan officer.

“My experience has given me a lot of confidence that I will be able to advise members as to the best available mortgage products for their situation,” Steve said.

Taylor will serve home buyers routed through the Credit Union’s call center and those inquiring online.

Also serving members in the member service center is Omar Khayyam.

“Buying a home is such a monumental moment for most people,” Khayyam said. “I am honored to be able to guide them through the home-buying process.”

Khayyam has spent time in service and sales, both member-facing and behind the scenes, including 10 years in banking. His knowledge of consumer lending and home equity loans gives him an advantage in helping members select the best mortgage for their lifestyle.
